It is not the fact the chinese eat meat, it is the way they treat the animals beforehand. Any person who abuses animals just because they are going to be eaten should treat them humanely and with respect. There is too much abuse going on and there is no need for it.

I think it is interesting to see the reaction from different people on topics such as food. In different countries people eat different types of animals. In the US people usually eat Swine/Pork which middle easterners find Disgusting. A lot of americans find nothing wrong with eating Cattle/Beef. In India, The cattle is sacred and would be sacrilegious to even harm a cow. In Peru, People eat Guinea pigs, while other people would think that a rodent would be disgusting. Dog, Cat, Chicken, Cattle, Swine, Whats the difference?? We need to stop humanizing animals. What makes a cow less important then a dog, or a Chicken less important then a feral cat?? as for the inhumane treatment of dogs and cats, we need to take a good look into our own country. our Slaughter houses are horrendous. diseased animals. Also look into dog and cat food. Animal digest. read the labels!!! Animal digest is random animals such as horses, diseased zoo animals, euthanized cats and dogs. Purina is a company that use this. Before we go try to protect other animals in other countries, we need to look into our own country…

I’ve never ate a cat or dog before but the thought of it is wrong to me because people live in an environment where the pets they love are being eaten but its called life get over it!

THERE’S NOTHING WRONG EATING DOGS AND CATS! Everyone eats chicken, cows, pigs, fish etc.. And every animal are equal so.. just because dogs and cats are intelligent doesn’t mean they can’t be
eaten and also we humans made them more intelligent by teaching them things
