[Questions Answered] Can attractive women be good cooks?

    Written by on April 15th, 2010 · 789 views

Byron M, Foodenate Reader: I heard on CNN that hot babes cannot cook – that they are only able to do certain things well in certain rooms – and kitchen things are not one. IS THIS TRUE? People said my mom was hot and I liked her food. Does that mean I grew up eating bad food? Or were my friends r’tarded? Cause if I don’t know food I think it will really hurt my chances with the ladies. I am kind of scared, please tell me the answer soon.

Marcello C, Foodenate Sous Chef: Dear reader, don’t believe everything you hear on the news. I’m a sous chef at a very prominent ristorante in Boston. Read the rest of this entry »

    Ted Kennedy Lobster Salad

    Written by on August 26th, 2009 · 308 views

Today, in honor of the late Senator Kennedy, the Foodenator.com staff has posted a recipe for Lobser Salad…a New England tradition.Edward Kennedy

    6 ears corn
4 lbs. lobster meat, cooked, cut into bite-size pieces
2 tomato, large, peeled and seeded
    2 avocado, peeled, cubed
    1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 tablespoons milk (or light cream)
    1/2 cup fresh dill, chopped
    salt and pepper

Cook the corn and then scrape off the kernels over a bowl and set aside.

Put the tomatoes, avocado and corn into a bowl and add the lobster meat and toss gently.

In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, with the milk and mix until smooth.

Sprinkle the lobster mixture with dill, salt and pepper, then add the mayonnaise mixture and stir briefly so the sauce barely holds the rest of the ingredients together.

Cover and refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
